How to Set Up a Proxy in Linken Sphere
Linken Sphere has been around since 2017, which makes it one of the older antidetect browsers still in active development. It calls profiles sessions, and each one is properly isolated: its own fingerprint, cookies, cache and connection. What sets the proxy side apart is that proxies live in their own manager rather than inside each session. You save a proxy once, Linken Sphere resolves its country and timezone for you, and you attach it to as many sessions as you want. There's a validate button next to every entry too, so you find out the connection works before a session ever opens.

Full Linken Sphere setup, start to finish
What You Need
- An active FleetProxy plan (residential rotating, static residential, mobile rotating, or datacenter)
- Linken Sphere installed and signed in
- Your proxy credentials from the FleetProxy dashboard
Not sure which proxy type fits? Rotating residential works for most multi-account setups, while static IPs suit accounts you keep long term.
Get Your FleetProxy Credentials
Every Linken Sphere profile needs a host, port, username, and password. Here is where to find them in the dashboard.
- 1
Open Active Proxies
Log in to the FleetProxy dashboard and click Active Proxies in the left sidebar. It lists every plan you already own.
- 2
Manage the plan you want to use
Find the product you are connecting, then click Manage. Each product has its own host and ports, so pick the one you actually plan to route traffic through.
- 3
Generate and copy your proxy
Open the Generator tab. Choose country, state, city, or ISP if you need a specific location, pick HTTP/HTTPS or SOCKS5, then set rotation to Random IP or Sticky IP. Your credentials appear on the right, ready to copy.
Host and port for every product
| Product | Host | HTTP / HTTPS | SOCKS5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Residential Rotating | residential-v2.fleetproxy.io | 5000 | 5000 |
| Mobile Rotating | mobile.fleetproxy.io | 5000 | 5000 |
| Datacenter Rotating | datacenter.fleetproxy.io | 9000 | 9000 |
| Static Residential (ISP) | Your assigned IP address | 50100 | 50101 |
Linken Sphere Proxy Setup, Step by Step
- 1
Pick the preset your sessions will use
Open Linken Sphere and use the preset selector next to New Session. Desktop preset and Mobile preset are the two that ship with it, and Setup preset is where you build your own. Pick Desktop for ordinary work. Mobile is the one to match with a mobile IP, though it is greyed out on the free version.
- 2
Click New Session
With the Quick switch on, New Session builds a session straight from that preset instead of walking you through the five-block wizard. It shows up in the list immediately, named after the preset it came from. Turn Quick off if you would rather set the fingerprint and connection by hand on the way through.
- 3
Open the Proxy manager
Click Proxy in the top right. The Proxy manager is a separate store for every proxy you save, kept apart from the sessions themselves. That separation is the point: one entry here can be attached to as many sessions as you need, so you enter your FleetProxy details once rather than per session.
- 4
Click New proxy
A blank row appears with a name field, a protocol badge and one wide field hinting at ip:port@login:pass. Underneath sit a Live toggle and a field for a rotation link. Live is for proxies you rotate yourself by calling a URL, and FleetProxy rotating gateways hand you a fresh IP on their own, so you can leave both of those alone.
- 5
Paste your FleetProxy proxy and validate it
Paste the line you copied from the generator into the wide field. Linken Sphere pulls it apart and fills the rest of the row in by itself, resolving the geolocation and timezone as it goes. Give the entry a name while you are there, since an unnamed proxy is hard to pick out of a long list later. Then click the tick at the end of the row to run the check.
- 6
Confirm the connection validated
A green Connection successfully validated message appears at the bottom, and the row now carries the protocol, the exit IP, the country it resolved to and that country's timezone. Read the country and timezone rather than skimming past them, because that is what the session's own settings should line up with. The proxy is saved from here and can be attached to any session in your list.
If you are using static residential (ISP) proxies
For static residential (ISP) proxies there is no gateway to paste. Build the line from the IP address assigned to you in the dashboard, with port 50100 for HTTP or 50101 for SOCKS5, and the same login and password. The Proxy manager validates it the same way.
Verify It Actually Works
The validate button covers most of this before a session ever opens. If you want to see it from inside the browser, launch the session with that proxy attached and open httpbin.org/ip. The address it returns should match the exit IP shown in the Proxy manager. If your own address comes back, the session was started without the proxy attached, so check the proxy is applied to it rather than only saved.
You can also run the address through our IP lookup tool to confirm the country and provider, or use the proxy tester to check the connection responds before you start working in the profile.
Troubleshooting Linken Sphere Proxy Errors
Validation fails on a proxy you pasted
Copy the credentials again first, since a trailing space picked up in the copy is the usual cause. Then check the port against the protocol. Residential rotating runs on 5000 for HTTP and SOCKS5 alike, but static ISP keeps them on 50100 and 50101, so a line built with the wrong one will not connect. Last, confirm the plan still has bandwidth left in your dashboard.
The row stays half empty after pasting
Linken Sphere could not read the line. The field expects one string holding host, port, login and password together, in the shape its own hint shows. Go back to the generator, pick a single-line format rather than separate values, and copy it again.
The session opens but goes out on your own IP
Saving a proxy in the manager does not attach it to anything by itself. Open the session and set its connection to the entry you saved, then start it again. This catches people out most often with sessions created through the Quick switch, which inherit whatever the preset had rather than the proxy you added.
The country it resolves to is not the one you picked
The proxy works. It came out somewhere other than you asked for. Go back to the generator, set the country, state, or city you want, then copy the credentials again. A rotating gateway hands you a different exit each session unless you asked for a sticky IP.
Still getting blocked once everything connects? That is usually an IP reputation problem rather than a setup problem, and our guide on avoiding IP bans covers what to change.
Linken Sphere Proxy Setup FAQ
Does Linken Sphere support SOCKS5 proxies?
Yes. The connection list covers Socks5 and HTTP for standard proxies, along with SSH tunneling, and the protocol is set per entry rather than once for the whole app. SOCKS5 is the usual pick for antidetect work because it moves traffic without rewriting HTTP headers.
Do I have to enter the proxy again for every session?
No, and that is the main reason to use the Proxy manager rather than typing credentials into each session. Save a proxy once, give it a name, and attach it wherever you need it. There is also an Import from list button that takes a bulk paste if you are setting up many at once.
Can each Linken Sphere session use a different proxy?
It can. The connection is a property of the session, so every session browses from its own address. That separation is the point of the whole tool. Fingerprints can be perfect and accounts will still be tied together if they all leave from one IP.
What does the validate button check?
It confirms the proxy responds, then reports the exit IP, the country it resolves to and that country's timezone. The second half is the useful part. It tells you what the rest of the session should be set to, so the fingerprint and the IP agree with each other instead of contradicting.
Does Linken Sphere come with proxies included?
It offers its own, listed among the connection types as Sphere Proxy, alongside a free pool that its own documentation advises against for real work. Bringing your own means you choose the network, the locations, and the rotation behavior instead of taking what is bundled.
