Proxy Setup Questions
How do I connect a proxy to an antidetect browser?
Open the proxy settings inside the browser profile, choose HTTP or SOCKS5, then enter the host, port, username, and password from your proxy dashboard. Run the built-in connection test before you launch the profile. The exact field names change per tool, which is what these guides walk through.
Which proxy type should I use for multi-accounting?
Rotating residential suits volume tasks that need fresh IPs, while static residential (ISP) suits accounts you keep long term because the address never changes. Mobile IPs carry the most trust on mobile-first platforms.
Do I need a separate proxy for every browser profile?
Yes, if the accounts must stay unlinked. Sharing one IP across several profiles is the most common reason platforms connect accounts to each other, no matter how well the fingerprints are configured.
How do I check the proxy is really working?
Open httpbin.org/ip inside the launched profile. The IP it reports should be the proxy address, not your own. You can also paste the address into an IP lookup tool to confirm the country and provider match what you selected.
Choosing a tool first? Our guide to the best antidetect browsers for multi-account management compares the main options before you commit to one.
Not seeing your tool?
Tell us which one and we will write the guide. FleetProxy runs in anything that accepts a standard HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy, so the tool almost certainly works already, it just has no walkthrough here yet.
Stuck part-way through a setup?
You do not have to work it out alone. Send us the step you are on and we will get you connected.
